Theo Tijsma from Noardburgum, Netherlands uses his LT15 sawmill to support his sawmill and construction business. He primarily works with larch, Douglas fir and oak to produce beams, planks, roof trusses and garden furniture, in addition to building complete garages, sheds, and other projects depending on the client’s needs.

The building he entered into Wood-Mizer’s 2015 My Project contest was a timber frame structure built for a client who wanted an outdoor sitting area and hot tub under shelter. It is 9 meters long and 5 meters wide, and built with larch and Douglas fir.
